The Legacy of Verna Hart

Friends, collectors and art advocates have expressed an interest in establishing a scholarship fund to honor and salute the talent and contributions of expressionist painter Verna Hart.

Her premature death at the age of 58 in 2019 was a shock and a loss to family, friends, and the art community at large; thus the establishment of "The Verna Hart Scholarship Fund," a 501c3 non-for-profit.

This scholarship will be presented to an up-and-coming artists who are enrolled or will be enrolled in an art school, college or university that embodies the commitment, discipline and principals that Verna exhibited throughout her career.
